SPOTLIGHT

JWA is dedicated to the dramatic improvement of healthcare delivery systems using the Toyota System as a model. In 1995, we started to successfully transfer our industry skills and knowledge to healthcare organizations by taking our healthcare clients directly into factory operations to learn alongside line operators.

Over a decade later, we continue to engage with the executive leadership of healthcare systems to support the transformation of their organizations. Our goal is not only to achieve improvement with lean tools and methods. Our ultimate aim is to ensure that our clients build the foundation of a lean enterprise and continue to identify and remove waste long after our engagement has ended.

There are a number of ways to engage with JWA to support your organization’s objectives:

  1. Consultation with organization leaders seeking to accelerate and extend improvement as a long term strategic initiative
  2. Consultations with departmental leadership on focused improvement project
  3. Training of internal consultants and managers as certified Lean Leaders or internal Lean Consultants
  4. Training through Seattle based or onsite JWA Lean Healthcare Seminar series
  5. Licensing of JWA materials including RPI, 5S, Daily Management System, and Value Stream Mapping and Alignment
  6. Purchasing JWA products including newly released "5S for Healthcare" fondly referred to as "5S in a Box"
